I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, process your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and reclaim your life. I believe in the power of presence, empathy, and an unwavering belief in your capacity to heal. I don’t offer quick fixes, but rather a supportive therapeutic relationship where you can begin to heal from past pain or present challenges and gain new insights that can help you feel better. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, compassion, and connection. It is client-centered, inclusive, and welcoming, tailored to your specific needs, and draws on evidence-based practices to support your journey towards healing and well-being. I am particularly passionate about working with children, teens, and their caregivers and parents.
My experience includes working with diverse populations, including refugees, war survivors, families, children and adolescents in the foster care system, and survivors of child sexual abuse. This work has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit. I am particularly passionate about working with children and youth, recognizing the long-lasting impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the importance of early intervention. I utilize evidence-based techniques, including play and art therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other modalities, to help you make positive changes. I focus on creating a supportive and welcoming environment where you can heal, connect, and embark on a journey of personal discovery and growth.
